Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records leading to the detention of the petitioner's son Valla @ Vallarasu, son of Adikesavan, male, aged about 22 years, is presently lodged in the Central Prison, Puzhal at Chennai and has been detained under Act 14/82 as a "Goonda" vide detention order dated 19.05.2021 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein, made in Memo BCDFGISSSV.No.138/2021 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the said detenu before this Court and thereafter set him at liberty from the Central Prison, Puzhal-II, Puzhal at Chennai.

ORDER
[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Memo BCDFGISSSV.No.138/2021 dated 19.05.2021 detaining his son as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.3305, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 26.07.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
