2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the second respondent to issue an individual Patta in his name, by considering his representation dated 30.11.2016.

3. According to the petitioner, the Patta, which is standing in the name of his vendor, is to be transferred to his name and consequently, the second respondent has to issue an indivdual Patta to the petitioner. Ventilating such grievance, the petitioner has made such representation.

3. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.11.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
