PRAYER:- Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondent to investigate the matter and file final report in Crime No.79 of 2019 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Airport Police Station within a time frame of three months and to proceed further in accordance with law. ORDER

The petitioner, who is the accused in Crime No.79 of 2019 seeks direction to direct the respondent police to file a final report in this case.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioner is a Bangaladesh National involved in human trafficking, from whom, two females minor girls viz., Yasmin and one Sama were rescued from the Air Port, who were about to proceed to Sri Lanka for flush trade. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Thereafter, the petitioner and the other accused have been arrested. The victim girls have been sent back to their parents. The particulars and details of the petitioner has been sought from the Bangaladesh Embassy and letters have been addressed to The Under Secretary to Government, Tamil Nadu, Public (Foreigners) Department, Fort St. George, Secretariat, Chennai - 09, to follow it up with the embassy officials and others. He further submits that after collecting the information and details, final report would be filed. Since it involves coordination with the Central Government as well as foreign embassy, it takes some time.

4.In view of the same, this Court directs the respondent police to get these particulars on priority and to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of five months. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
