Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd Respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner herein dated 29.09.2015 forthwith.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner is the husband of the third respondent. There exists a matrimonial discard between them. The petitioner would state that the third respondent is a Police personnel and in connection with her employment she was allotted headquarters at Door No.23, 'A' Block, New Washermanpet, Chennai and contrary to the relevant rules and regulations, she has

sublet the premises in favour of third party and in this regard, he submitted a representation dated 29.09.2015 to the respondents and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.R.Ravindra Ram, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.

4.Though the petitioner in his representation dated 29.09.2015 has made certain allegations against the third respondent, this Court is not prepared to venture into the same, except for the limited purpose of the allegation pertains to the alleged subletting of the official quarters allotted to the third respondent in favour of third parties.

5.This Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 29.09.2015 on merits and in accordance with law after putting on notice, the third respondent and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the third respondent.
