ORDER

When the matter is called today, there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioners, as well as respondents. This writ petition has been filed, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents, to accept the examination fee and permit the petitioners to write the examination for the 3rd year of Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course, scheduled to be held from 6.10.2015 to 13.11.2015, by considering the representation of the petitioners, dated 10.10.2015.

The relief prayed for by the petitioners relates to the examinations scheduled to be held from 6.10.2015 to 13.11.2015. Since the dates, relating to the holding of the examinations, pertaining to BAMS course, in the Pondicherry University, had already lapsed, the relief prayed for by the petitioners cannot be granted, by this Court, at this stage. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed, as infructuous. No costs.
