Respondents Prayer:- This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the impugned proceedings dated 23.05.2022 passed in Na.Ka.No.16/2022/B1 on the file of the second respondent herein, quash the same in so far as it relates to the petitioner is concerned. 1/5

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the impugned proceedings dated 23.05.2022 on the file of the second respondent herein and quash the same insofar as it relates to the petitioner is concerned.

2. The petitioner was working as a Panchayat Secretary at Agili Village at Chengalpet District and discharged his duties with utmost sincerity and dedication to the people of the said Village. While so, the second respondent, vide his proceedings dated 23.05.2022, transferred the petitioner from Agili Village to Thandaraipuduchery Village, simply stating administrative reasons. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent submitted that the petitioner was transferred on 2/5

administrative ground and he has also joined the transferred post. Hence, nothing survives for consideration in this petition.

4. Heard the learned counsels appearing for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the catena of decisions rendered by this Court, normally this Court will not interfere with the transfer orders passed by the respondents on the ground of public interest or on administrative reasons, unless there is any mala fide or without jurisdiction. In the case on hand, the impugned proceedings were passed on 23.05.2022 and the present Writ Petition was filed on 28.06.2022, i.e., after a month. Further, the petitioner has also jointed in the transferred post. At this stage, the impugned proceedings does not warrant any interference of this Court. Hence, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 01.07.2022 Index : Yes/No pvs 3/5
