The petitioners, who apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 8(c) 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act in Crime No.143 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners were in illegal possession of 1.200 Kgs of Ganja. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution they have been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioners were found in possession of 1.200 Kgs of Ganja. He further submitted that the earlier anticipatory bail petition was dismissed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.13353 of 2022. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

Anu Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Considering the huge quantity of ganja possessed by the petitioners, there is no change of circumstances. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
