ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to conduct investigation expeditiously and to file the final report in respect of Crime No.222 of 2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the second respondent Police registered a case in Crime No.222 of 2016 for the offence under Section 174 Cr.P.C., Under such circumstances, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent Police to complete the investigation within a time bound manner. However, the second respondent Police is directed to conduct the investigation expeditiously and take action in accordance with law.
