These Writ appeals are filed under Clause 15 of Letters Patent against the order dated 12.10.2009 made in W.P.No.35548 of 2006, 336/2007, 43968/2006 & 37290/2006.

WP.No.35548/2006 is preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a writ of certiorari to call for the records on the file of the First Respondent relating to impugned G.O.Ms.No.155, dated 22-10-1991 and the consequential impugned Notification of the Third Respondent, dated 10-03-1998 bearing Ref. Nil and quash the same. (WA.296/2010) WP.NO.37290 of 2006 is preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a writ of certiorari to call for the records on the file of the first respondent relating to the impugned notification dated 2/9/98 bearing no.24/98 with regard to the appointments for the post of Asst. Director of Statistics and all further recruitment process and quash the same. (WA.NO.1883/2010) WP.NO.

43968/2006 is preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a writ of certiorari to call for the records of the 3rd respondent connected with the impugned Notification No. nil dated 7.2.2000 calling for applications for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Director of Statistics and quash the same.

(WA.NO.303/2010) WP.NO.336/2007 is preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a writ of certiorari to call for the records connected with the impugned notification No.Nil in Advertisement No.020, dated 6.10.2001 issued by the 3rd respondent and to quash the same and consequently allot the above vacanices to the promotees in accordance with rules (WA.NO.352/2010) For Appellant : Mr.R.Rajaram For Respondents : Mr.S.T.S.Moorthy, for R.1 and R.2 Mr.M.Baskar for R.3 (TNPSC) COMMON JUDGMENT A letter has been circulated seeking withdrawal of the appeals as the grievance of the appellant stands redressed in view of the orders passed in G.O.Ms.No.98, Planning, Development and Special Initiative (STI) Department dated 16.12.2014.
