ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent to release the petitioner's vehicle bearing Regn. No. TN 31-BU-2950 Tractor (Mahindra 475-DI), seized by the respondent on 09.10.2015, this writ petition has been filed.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that he is the owner of the vehicle bearing Regn. No.TN 31 BU 2950 and it was booked by a farmer for carrying manure on 09.10.2015. While returning, the vehicle was intercepted and seized by the respondent, without giving any reason. The petitioner also made a representation dated 12.10.2015 to the respondent. Since the said representation has not been disposed of, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.10.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
