O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.05.019. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner is that she was working as an Secondary Grade Teacher at Marakkanam Panchayat Union Elementary School, Kaipanikuppam under the control of the 4th respondent herein. The petitioner was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher on 15.07.2009 and her service was regularised with effect from 15.07.2009 and after entry in service, has passed B.A.(English) Degree from Madurai Kamarajar University and subsequently passed M.S.(English) in the year 1995 from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and after appointments as Secondary Grade Teacher, the petitioner obtained B.Ed. Degree from the Tamil University, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu in the year 2010. The petitioner was waiting for her promotion as B.T.Teacher in English, as well as Middle School Teacher and the petitioner has been placed at 5th position on 01.01.2012.

The Government has included her name in the panel list at Sl.No.5. The petitioner subsequently filed a Writ Petition in W.P.No. 27267 of 2015 seeking for mandamus directing the respondents to promote the petitioner for the post of B.T.Assistant (English) according to her seniority based on her representation dated 20.03.2015. This Court by its order dated 01.09.2015 directed the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 28.02.2014 and 20.03.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and thereafter, the respondents passed rejection order dated 12.04.2019 on the ground that there is no vacancy for B.T.Teacher (English). Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation on 13.05.2019 to consider the petitioner's promotion and till date , the representation was not considered. Hence the writ petition. 4.

Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.05.2019, on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.
