This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register the complaint dated 05.08.2016, given by the petitioner and to file the final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. On the complaint dated 05.08.2016 given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.227 of 2016.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by Vigneswaran, the opposite party, petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.224 of 2016 against this petitioner. On a reading of the complaint dated 05.08.2016 given by the petitioner, the dispute essentially appears to be a landlord and sub-tenant dispute. Be that at it may, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in both the C.S.R.Nos.224 and 227 of 2016 and take action accordance with law.
