ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Krishnagiri to expedite the Crl.M.P.No.1975 of 2020 on the file of Judicial Magistrate-1, Krishnagiri.

2. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter got dragged for the past two years and now the case is adjourned for await records. Hence, he seeks to dispose of the main case as expeditiously as possible.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

4. On perusal of the docket order, it appears that the case has been protracted from 10.07.2020 without any valid reasons. Such view of the matter, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, 2/4

Krishnagiri to dispose of the Crl.M.P.No.1975 of 2020 on merits as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
