ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 07.02.2013, 14.02.2013 and 04.03.2013 and to stop the illegal sand quarrying operation in Palar River at Somalapuram Village, Ambur Taluk, Vellore District.

2. The learned Advocate General, on instruction states that the quarrying activities have already been closed on 06.08.2013 in Somalapuram Village, Ambur Taluk, Vellore District.
