This Petition has been filed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" along with the report sent by the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for the exclusive trial of cases under POCSO Act, Chairperson of GSICC, Chennai in D.No.100 of 2020 dated 20.02.2020.

It is seen from the records, while disposing the petition in Crl.O.P.No.17919 of 2019, this Court by an order dated 09.07.2019, directed the trial Court to complete the trial proceedings in S.C.No.31 of 2018, within a period of four months. However, the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for the exclusive trial of cases under POCSO Act, Chairperson of GSICC, Chennai has sent communication dated 20.02.2020 in D.No.100 of 2020, narrating the sequence of proceedings in S.C.No.31 of 2018 and sought further two months time to complete the trial in the said case.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is inclined to grant two months time to complete the trial in S.C.No.31 of 2018 from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 04.03.2020 lok 1/2 http://www.judis.nic.in
