the detention of the petitioner's son Ajith Kumar son of Murugadoss, Male, aged about 27 years is presently lodged in Central Prison, Puzhal at Chennai and has been detained under Act 14/82 as a "Goonda" vide detention order dated 15.05.2023 made in Memo. No.159/BCDFGISSSV/2023 by the 2nd respondent, The Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai, Vepery, Chennai600 007 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the said detenu before this Hon'ble Court and thereafter set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by M.SUNDAR, J.,] This order will now dispose of the captioned 'Habeas Corpus Petition' [hereinafter 'HCP' for the sake of brevity].
2. Mr.M.Rajavelu, learned counsel on record for petitioner and Mr.E.Raj Thilak, learned Additional Public Prosecutor are before us.
3. Learned counsel on both sides submit that the impugned preventive detention order has since been revoked (Advisory Board) vide proceedings dated 22.06.2023 bearing reference G.O.Rt.No.3365, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department.

4. In the light of the aforementioned undisputed position, common submission is made that nothing survives in the captioned habeas corpus petition.
