Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondents 2 to 4 to pay the retirement and pension benefits to the petitioner in accordance with the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No. 234 dt.01.06.2009 Finance (Pay Cell) Department and the G.O. Ms. No.62 dt. 09.03.2015 Finance (CMPC) Department together with interest for the delay in making the payment of the retirement and pension benefits to the petitioner.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that she has retired as a Selection Grade Teacher in the services of the fourth respondent school on 30.04.2014 and her retirement and terminal benefits had not been settled immediately and it was settled only on 21.08.2015 and for the belated payment, the petitioner was repeatedly corresponding with the respondents for payment of interest and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.M.L.Ramesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.V.Vijayashankar, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the third respondent. 4.Though the petitioner prayed for the larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the respondents 1 and 2 by enclosing a copy of this order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the respondents 1 and 2 on receipt of the same is directed to consider and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

5.The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
