Mr.P.R.Dilipkumar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to relocate the electric transformer located near the petitioner's shop bearing Door No.59, Mint

Street (Near Sowcarpet Apollo Hospital), Chennai - 600 079.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that such location of the transformer causes great hindrance to the petitioner's business. Ventilating such grievance, it is stated that the petitioner has approached the respondents and made a request as early as on 15.07.2011 for relocating the transformer, followed by the reminders periodically. It is stated that last of such representation was made on 19.10.2017.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that none of the representations is considered by the respondents so far.

5. Learned standing counsel for the respondent Department submitted that except the representation dated 19.10.2017, no other representation was received by he Department.

6. In any event, as it is admitted by the Department that the representation dated 19.10.2017 is received from the petitioner, it is for them to consider the said representation and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.10.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
