ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner is the wife of the convict. The present habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to retain the convict at Central Prison, Salem without transferring him to the Central Prison, Coimbatore. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. On an earlier occasion, due to administrative reason, the convict was transferred from Central Prison, Coimbatore to Central Prison, Salem. Now, the communication sent by the Jail Superintendent, Salem to the office of the Public Prosecutor would show that till the completion of the case in Crime No.26 of 2015, the convict will not be transferred.
4. In view of the above said letter dated 28.10.2020 and recording the same, the habeas corpus petition stands disposed of by making it clear that till the pendency of the case in Crime No.26 of 2015, the convict shall not be transferred. Liberty is also be given to the petitioner to approach this Court if any decision is made to transfer the convict after the completion of said case, since we are not going into the issues raised by the petitioner in this habeas corpus petition.
