Degree examinations or the date of their joining the Department as the case may be whichever is later and consequentially to revise the Petitioners basic pay and further to pay the Petitioners all consequential arrears within a fixed time frame.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the Petitioners seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondents to two advance increments to the Petitioners with effect from the date of their acquiring P.G. Degree, i.e., the date of the last examinations of the P.G Degree examinations or the date of their joining the Department as the case may be whichever is later and consequentially to revise the Petitioners' basic pay and further to pay the Petitioners all consequential arrears that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners would submit that the issue involved in the Writ Petitions in regard to grant of advance increments, has been no longer res-integra by virtue of the order passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.P. (MD). No. 21875 of 2016, dated 19.05.2017.

4. In view of the same, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the orders to consider the claim of the Petitioners in the light of the relevant Government Orders and the Judgment of this Court referred to supra, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
