Mr.M.Santhanaraman, learned Additional Government Pleader, took notice for the respondents.

2.The writ petitioner has come to this Court challenging the impugned order dated 03.04.2017 passed by the 3rd respondent imposing punishment of stoppage of increment for six months with cumulative effect.

3.When the matter is taken, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner may be given permission to file appeal instead of waiting for long time before this court. 4.In view of the same, this Court grants leave to file appeal as against the impugned order, before the appropriate authority and on such appeal being filed, the concerned authority is directed to consider the same and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of five months from the date of receipt of the petitioner's appeal. With the above terms, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
