Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records in No.514/Regr/Acad/A2/2013 dated 24.09.2013 of the 1st Respondent and quash the same as illegal and unconstitutional and consequently directing the 1st Respondent to allot the Sports Quota Seat to this Petitioner holding that this petitioner has obtained 3rd Rank by getting 350 Sports Quota Marks, if all the seats are filled in, direct the 1st Respondent to create additional one seat for this Petitioner. When the case was taken up for consideration on 16.02.2018, there was no representation for the petitioner either in person or through his learned counsel. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted today i.e., on 20.02.2018, under the caption "for dismissal".
2.Today, when the petition is listed under the caption "for dismissal" and is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner is not ready and sought time.
