By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner was employed as Assistant Manager (Quality Control) in the services of the first respondent and he retired from service on 31.05.2014 and it was subject to pendency of recovery proceedings. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that though he was provided with provident fund and gratuity, he was not provided with accumulated earned leave and in this regard, submitted representation dated 26.08.2014 to the first respondent followed by reminder dated 08.05.2015 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader (Co-operatives) who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated dated 26.08.2014 and the reminder dated 08.05.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
