Petition filed under section 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned proceeding vide M.A.9.V.T.U.A.Na.Ka. No.R3/0081/2015 dated 02.02.2015 issued by the first respondent and to quash the same to allow the petitioner to run the peaceful and lawful business in the premises bearing No.15/12 Saffi Muhammed Road Thousand Lights Chennai - 600 006.

O R D E R

Heard Mr.V.Manohar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned counsel appearing for the respondents. 2.The petitioner has challenged the order dated 02.02.2015 by which the petitioner's biscuit cum juice stall was sealed. 3.The reason assigned in the impugned order is that the petitioner did not respond to two earlier notices which were issued to the petitioner on 17.12.2014 pointing out various discrepancies. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.According to the petitioner, he has submitted compliance report on 23.12.2014.

5.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents Corporation on instructions submitted that no such compliance was made and the licence was not produced till date.

6.In the light of the above there will be a direction to the petitioner to appear before the first respondent and produce the licence granted for the biscuit cum juice stall. If the first respondent is satisfied with the contention that there is already licence granted for the biscuit cum juice stall, then an inspection of the petitioner's shop shall be directed to be conducted and thereafter, the first respondent shall proceed in accordance with law. The above direction shall be complied within a period of two weeks from the date on which the petitioner appears before the first respondent.

7.This writ petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
