Complainant Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code to call for records pertaining to the FIR, registered in Cr.No.53 of 2014, on the file of the first respondent and to quash the same.

O R D E R

This petition is filed, to quash the FIR registered against the petitioners in Cr.No.53 of 2014, on the file of the first respondent 2.

Based on the complaint given by the second respondent herein, by name S.Mahalakshmi, case has been registered against the petitioners in the aforesaid Crime Number for offence under Sections 376, 420 and 506(i) IPC.

It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the second respondent that the parties have arrived at a settlement in the Mediation Centre and the second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent has agreed to withdraw the complaint given by her against the petitioners and also received Rs.2,60,000/- from the first petitioner.

The second respondent is present in Court today and she is identified by her counsel. The second respondent also admitted in Court that she is willing to withdraw her complaint given against the petitioners and also admitted the receipt of Rs.2,60,000/- from the first petitioner.

Considering the fact that the second respondent is willing to withdraw the complaint given by her against the petitioners and the matter was compromised, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the FIR registered against the petitioners in Cr.No.53 of 2014 is quashed.
