O R D E R

The petitioner is presently working as Part-time Sweeper in Government Branch Library, Pochampalli in the District of Krishnagiri. According to the petitioner, the Government have issued an Order in G.O.Ms.No.385 Finance (Paycell) Department dated 01.10.2010, directing that Sweepers working either on daily wage basis or consolidated basis should be given Special Time Scale of Pay along with Dearness Allowance. The petitioner is similarly situated and as such she submitted a representation on 27.01.2015 requesting the Government to extend the benefits of the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.385 Finance (Paycell) Department dated 01.10.2010 to her. The petitioner thereafter filed this Writ Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The District Library Officer, the third respondent herein, filed a counter affidavit indicating that the issue is now pending before the Government.

3. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 27.01.2015 on merits and particularly in the light of the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.385 Finance (Paycell) Department dated 01.10.2010. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 27.01.2015 along with a copy of this order so as to enable the first respondent to decide the matter within the aforesaid time.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
