Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to issue Grama Nattam Patta to the petitioner in S.F.No.304 measuring an extent of 4 1⁄2 Cents situated at Perani Village, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District by considering the petitioner representation dated 27.01.2026 and 1st respondent letter in O.Mu.(Aa7)/4354729/2026, dated 20.03.2026 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to issue grama nattam patta in favour of the petitioner for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition based on the petitioner's representation, dated 27.01.2026 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, as stated supra, is considered on merits and in accordance with law after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing all the necessary parties within a time framed to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

4. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in 2/4

accordance with law on the petitioner's representation, dated 27.01.2026 seeking for issuance of grama nattam patta in the name of the petitioner for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
