ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the order dated 29.05.2023 passed by the 1st respondent, quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents 1 and 2 and the Inquiry Office to bring an advocate to assist the petitioner in the inquiry at the petitioner cost.

The petitioner sought for a legal assistance only on account of the fact that the Inquiry Officer is a legal officer. The learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the respondents are willing to withdraw the matter from the Inquiry Officer and appoint a fresh Inquiry Officer, who is not a legally qualified person.

In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, the grievance of the petitioner gets redressed and therefore, this Writ petition is disposed of on the above submission. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
