Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader, took notice for the respondents.

2.The writ petitioner has come to this Court seeking a mandamus, directing the respondents to give priority to the petitioner in considering her for the post of Anganvadi Helper, on the ground that she is a widow. The relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition is wholly misconceived. Although the petitioner, who is a widow, has taken part in the interview held by the 2nd respondent on 01.09.2017, for the post of Anganvadi Helper, she has to wait till the result is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

announced by the respondents. The petitioner cannot come to this Court seeking mandamus directing the respondents to give priority to her alone since she is a widow, reason is that like the petitioner, there may be other widows would have also taken part in the interview for the said post and behind them, this Court cannot give any direction to the respondents as sought for by the petitioner. There is no merit in the writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
