ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to quash the proceedings of the respondent, dated 18.01.2022 and consequently, to direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioners into service.

2. The order impugned in the Writ Petition, dated 18.01.2022 is passed by the President, the Government Telecommunication Employees Co-Operative Society Ltd. As such, the said authority is not a local or other authority within the meaning of the Article 12 of the Constitution of India.

3. The petitioners have got an effective remedy by way of filing of a Revision Case under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-Operative Societies Act, 1983. It will be open for the petitioners to file a Revision Case against the impugned order. As and when the same is filed, the same shall be considered expeditiously by the concerned jurisdictional Registrar on its own merits, in any event, not later than 12 weeks from the date of filing of the Revision. It will be open for the petitioners to raise all the grounds raised in the Writ Petition before the appropriate authority.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
