ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to pay pension from the date of retirement of petitioner's husband and family pension to the petitioner from the date of death of petitioner's husband with 10% interest.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's husband worked as Driver in the 1st respondent Corporation and retired from service on 31.12.2009, on attaining the age of superannuation. Meanwhile, he died during the year 2009. In pursuance thereof, the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondents dated 11.09.2023 and 26.02.2025, respectively to sanction pension and family pension with 10% interest and the said representations are pending consideration. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's representations seeking pension and family pension was kept pending on the file of the respondents.
4. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that they would consider the petitioner's representations within a reasonable time.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 11.09.2023 & 26.02.2025 and pass order, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on its own merits and in accordance with law.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
