For Petitioner : Mr.P.N.George Graham (in both C.R.Ps) for M/s.Devadason and Sagar C O M M O N O R D E R Challenging the order passed in R.C.O.P.(SR).Nos.3793 & 3801 of 2016 on the file of the X Small Causes Judge (Rent Controller), Chennai, the landlord has filed the above Civil Revision Petitions. 2.The petitioner/landlord has filed the Original Petitions in R.C.O.P.(SR).Nos.3793 & 3801 of 2016 for eviction on the ground of own use and occupation and for fixation of fair rent.
3.The Rent Control Original Petitions filed by the landlord were returned by the Registry of the Small Causes Court calling upon the petitioner to give the enrolment number of his counsel. Relying upon a Circular issued by this Court in ROC.No.3555-a/2012/F2 dated 16.04.2014, the Registry of the Small Causes Court insisted that the enrolment number of the counsel and their mobile numbers should be given in the Vakalat. Challenging this order, the landlord has filed the above Civil Revision Petitions.
4.As per the Circular issued by this Court dated 16.04.2014, the counsels appearing for the parties should give their enrolment number and their mobile number in the Vakalat. M/s.Devadason and Sagar, a Partnership Firm had filed the Rent Control Original Petitions on behalf of the landlord. No doubt the Firm shall not have an enrolment number, however, the Partners of the Firm will be having enrolment numbers. Therefore, I am of the view that the Partners of the Firm can also mention their names in the Vakalat along with their respective enrolment numbers and mobile numbers.
5.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also submitted that the Partners of the Firm are willing to mention their names in the Vakalat and also their enrolment numbers and mobile numbers. 6.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I give liberty to the petitioner to mention the names of the Partners of M/s.Devadason and Sagar Firm and also their respective enrolment numbers and mobile numbers in the Vakalat. On mentioning the names of the Partners, their enrolment numbers and mobile numbers, the X Small Causes Judge (Rent Controller), Chennai is directed to number the Rent Control Original Petitions, if it is otherwise in order and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law.
7.With these observations, the Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
