ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant Contract Carriage Maxi Cab Bus Permit in favour of the petitioner for the vehicle morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition. Page No.1 of 4

2. The petitioner had submitted an application with the respondent on 20.03.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the said application has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Ms.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's application as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's application.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's application, dated 20.03.2026 seeking grant of Contract Carriage Maxi Cab Bus Permit in favour of the petitioner for the vehicle morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, within a Page No.2 of 4

period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
