Mr.Syed Sibghatulla, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with instructions to enable a final disposal of this Writ Petition.

The petitioner seeks a mandamus simplicitor directing the respondents, authorities of the Tangedco, to shift the electricity service connection from S.No.151 to S.No.162/2A, Gopalapuram Village, Pethaniackenpalayam Taluk, Salem District. He has, admittedly, filed a representation dated 13.05.2024, also seeking the same relief.

3. Mr.Syed would accede to the receipt of representation and have no objection to the grant of mandamus.

4. Hence, mandamus is issued to R2 to consider representation dated 13.05.2024, hear the petitioner and dispose the same, in accordance with law 2/4

and all applicable rules and regulations, within a period of four (4) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order.
