Today, the learned counsel for the applicant would submit that the account has been settled by the respondent and hence, he requests this Court to close this application.

2. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the applicant, this application is closed.

3. When this matter was taken up for hearing on 16.07.2024, based on the report filed by the learned Advocate Commissioner, this Court called upon the Deputy Superintendent of Police and Inspector of Police, Nagercoil, to appear before this Court and explain as to why they had not complied with the order passed by this Court.

Accordingly, today Ms.Yangchen Doma Bhutia, Additional Superintendent of Police, Nagerkoil has appeared before this Court along with Mr.Sahil Thurai, Inspector of Police and Mr.Sudhakar, Head Constable, Nesamony Police Station, Nagercoil, and would submit that proceedings has been initiated against the Inspector of Police. In this regard, the said proceedings dated 28.07.2024 was also placed before this Court and the same is taken on record.

5. In view of the above, the enquiry officer is directed to enquire the matter and take action against the Inspector of Police, if anything is found with regard to his disrespectful behavior towards the learned Advocate Commissioner.

6. The presence of Ms.Yangchen Doma Bhutia, Additional Superintendent of Police, Mr.Sahil Thurai, Inspector of Police and Mr.Sudhakar, Head Constable, are dispensed with. Page No.2/4

7. Post this matter on 30.09.2024 for reporting compliance with regard to the action taken against the aforesaid Inspector of Police. 01.08.2024 nsa Page No.3/4
