J U D G M E N T
The instant Appeal is against the decree for divorce granted by the Additional Family Court, Coimbatore, in HMOP No.706 of 2015.
2. Both the husband/appellant and wife/respondent are present in Court. The parties have filed a Joint Memorandum of Compromise signed by the parties as well as counsel for the respondent dated 16.08.2023, stating that they have resumed cohabitation and they have decided to continue the marital relationship. They therefore request the Court to set aside the judgment and decree in HMOP No.706 of 2015. Both of them would affirm the terms of the compromise.
3. In view of the said compromise arrived at, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal will stand allowed, the decree for divorce granted by the Additional Family Court will stand set aside and HMOP No.706 of 2015 will stand dismissed. The Joint Memorandum of compromise shall form 2/4
part of the decree. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
