ORDER

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the Order dated 06.01.2023 passed by this Court in W.P. No.400 of 2023 has been duly complied with by the 1/4

respondent. He has also produced a letter dated 11.07.2023 sent by the Principal Secretary to Government to the petitioner by which the petitioner's representation dated 08.03.2023 has been rejected. 2.Since the Order has been duly complied with, the learned Additional Government Pleader seeks for closure of this Contempt Petition.

3.This Court by its order dated 06.01.2023 passed in W.P. No.400 of 2023 directed the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the first respondent (Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department) seeking for revocation of the impugned Suspension Order dated 05.05.2021 issued by the first respondent (Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department), within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of the said Order and on receipt of the said representation, the first respondent (Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department) was directed to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the said representation, within a period of four weeks thereafter. In terms of the said Order, the petitioner had given a fresh representation on 08.03.2023, which has now been rejected by the letter of the Principal Secretary 2/4

dated 11.07.2023, which has been placed before this Court today by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. 4.Since the Order dated 06.01.2023 passed in W.P. No.400 of 2023 has been duly complied with, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Contempt Petition and accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed.

5.Liberty is granted to the petitioner if aggrieved by the Order dated 11.07.2023 passed by the Principal Secretary to Government to challenge the same in the manner known to the petitioner under law. 01.08.2023 Index: Yes/No vga 3/4
