O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed stating that the order of this Court dated 28.06.2021 passed in W.P.No.13392 of 2021 has not been 1/4

complied with by the respondents.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner submitted that a sum of Rs.10,000/- has not been deducted from the salary of S.T.Balaji, as directed by this Court on 28.06.2021 in W.P.No.13392 of 2021 but unknown person has deposited the amount in the name of Mr.S.T.Balaji.

3. This fact has been denied by the learned Special Government Pleader Respondent stating that the said S.T.Balaji has deposited a sum of Rs.10,000/- on 31.08.2021 in Pollachi Municipality and that the same has been entered in his service record. The photocopy of the relevant page of the Service Register of Mr.S.T.Balaji has also been produced to that effect.

4. Though this Court has directed to deduct a sum of Rs.10,000/- from the salary of Mr.S.T.Balaji, the said person himself deposited the amount ordered by this Court and the same has been entered in his Service Register.

5. In view of the same, no order is required to be passed in this contempt petition. Hence, this contempt petition is closed. No costs. 06.01.2023 arr To A.Thanumoorthy The Commissioner, The Office of the Pollachi Municipality, Pollachi-642 001, Coimbatore District.
