ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to implement the letter, dated 20.08.2025 issued by the 4th respondent by issuing patta in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, by the letter of the 3rd respondent, dated 20.08.2025, the 3rd respondent has recommended the case of the Page No.2 of 6

petitioner for the issuance of patta in his name for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition. However, according to the petitioner, till date, the 4th respondent has not issued patta for the subject property in the name of the petitioner.

This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the letter dated 20.08.2025 issued by the 3rd respondent and on the merits of the request made by the petitioner for grant of patta in his name for the subject property. However, no prejudice would be caused to any of the parties, if a direction is issued to the 4th respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's request for issuance of patta in his name for the subject property, after giving due consideration to the letter, dated 20.08.2025 issued by the 3rd respondent and after hearing all the necessary parties, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 4th respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's request for the grant of patta in Page No.3 of 6

his name for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the letter, dated 20.08.2025 issued by the 3rd respondent as well as the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, and after hearing all the necessary parties, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
