This petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner and her family members on the pretext of enquiry on the false complaint given by one Senthilathiban and her mother.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.
3. It is seen that, on a complaint lodged by one Rathnam and Senthilathiban, petition enquiry is pending before the respondent.
4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to cooperate with the Police for enquiry and at the time of conducting enquiry, the petitioner shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent Police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
