Mr.S.Gunasekaran, GA COMMON ORDER Heard Mr.R.Kumaravel, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. Since the issue involved in the petitions is one and the same, the writ petitions are disposed of by the following common order.
2.The petitioners seek for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to continue the supply of Essential Food Commodities to petitioners' Ration Card Nos.07/G/0361702 and 07/G/0088397 attached with Bangaram Village Fair Price Ration Shop No.CP 159 with other Government Benefits Schemes. 3.The petitioners would state that the petitioners possess valid ration cards and all of a sudden, the 3rd respondent is refusing to supply essential commodities to them.
In this regard, a representation was made to the Commissioner of Civil Supplies Corporation and the Commissioner, by communication dated 28.01.2015 directed the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners'
representations dated 23.12.2014 and conduct an enquiry. 4.In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent herein to consider the petitioners' representations dated 23.12.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.The writ petitions are disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
