ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH.J,) The petitioner herein has challenged the order of the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) passed in SHRC.No.164 of 2016 dated 24.02.2020.

2. Both the petitioner, as well as the complainant / the fourth respondent herein have amicably resolved the dispute among themselves and entered into a compromise on 30.10.2025. The terms of the joint compromise have been reduced by way of a memo filed before this

Court, which reads as follows:

"1.It is respectfully submitted that the above writ petition is filed for the writ of Certiorari challenging the proceedings of the 1st respondent in SHRC Case No.164/2016 dated 24/02/2020.

2.During the pendency of writ petition, the petitioner and the 4th respondent have amicably settled their dispute mutually and have arrived at a compromise to resolve the issue once and for all.

3.It is respectfully submitted that on the basis of compromise the 4th respondent has agreed to withdrawn and not press the complaint before the 1st respondent in which the impugned order dated 24.02.2020 was passed. In view of the compromise the parties herein namely the petitioner and 4th respondent which had arrived voluntarily, without any coercion, threat or undue influence and settled the issue out of court."

3. In view of the amicable settlement between the parties, the Writ Petition stands allowed in terms of the joint compromise memo. M.S.RAMESH, J.

Anu Consequently, the order passed in SHRC.No.164 of 2016 dated 24.02.2020 is quashed. No Costs. The connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
