This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to dispose of the proceedings 1/4
pending before him in O.Mu.12027/2022/K4 dated 04.05.2022 based on the petitioner representation dated 01.04.2022.
2. The case of the the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the properties in Survey Nos.119 and 72/2, to an extent of 1.25 and 3.25 Acres respectively, in Kodappanaikkanpatti Village, Salem Taluk, Salem District. The petitioner made an application for the issuance of patta in his name before the 3rd respondent. The 3rd respondent rejected the petitioner's application. Challenging the same, the petitioner made a representation before the 2nd respondent on 01.04.2022. However, till date, no order was passed by the 2nd respondent, which leads the petitioner to file this writ petition.
3. Though very many grounds have been raised in this Writ Petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.04.2022 and pass orders on merits within a particular time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has no objection for said order being passed.
5. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.
6. Taking into consideration the factual aspects of the matter, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.04.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above observations and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
