Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to take necessary action on the complaint made by the petitioner dated 19.02.2016 against the fourth respondent by constituting a committee under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2003 and to take a decision within the time that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court for a limited relief in the nature of seeking a direction against the first and second respondents by way of issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to take action on her complaint dated 19.02.2016 against the fourth respondent.

2. The respondents have today filed a communication in Na.Ka.No.150/A1/2016 dated 06.04.2017 with regard to action being taken on the petitioner's complaint as against the fourth respondent. 2/4

3. It is seen that a Committee has been constituted under "Vishaka Guidelines" and found that the allegations were not proved. The said Committee has been constituted with persons, who are, 1) NGO, 2) Special Deputy Collector (Social Security Scheme), Perambalur and 3) District Social Welfare Officer, Perambalur.

4. Considering that the petitioner's complaint 19.02.2016 has been acted upon and necessary enquiry has also been made and the proceedings concluded way back in April 2017, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition.
