Mr.K.S.Jeya Ganeshan, learned Senior Panel Counsel takes notice on behalf of the first respondent. Mr.K.Tippu Sultan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the second respondent. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to return/ reimburse the amount of Rupees Four Lakh Eight Thousand Six Hundred and Twelve (Rs.4,08,612/-) for medical expenses to the beneficiary K.Damodaran with 1% interest per month from May, 2022 to till the date of disposal of this case, to the petitioner based on the representation dated 25.10.2024.

3.The petitioner appearing as Party - in - Person would submit that he has spent a sum of Rs.4,08,612/- for the medical expenses of his Father K.Damodaran who was an employee in Heavy Vehicles 2/4

Factory, Avadi. However, before reimbursement was ordered, his Father died on 01.05.2022. Hence, claiming reimbursement, he has sent representation to the respondents on 25.10.2024 and such representation is yet to be considered by the respondents. 4.At this juncture, the learned Senior Panel Counsel as well as the learned Government Advocate would fairly submit that the respondents would consider the representation of the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law.

5.In view of the above submissions, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the above representation of the petitioner upon its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
