ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2025. 2.
The case of the petitioner is that in pursuance to the notification
issued by the 1st respondent dated 03.02.2023 for the post of Theatre Assistant, the petitioner has applied. Subsequently, he was provisionally selected. However, his name was withheld by the respondent. In this regard, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondent dated 10.04.2025 to consider him for appointment to the post of Theatre Assistant. However, the same was not disposed of till date. Hence the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that in view of the pendency of the criminal proceedings against the petitioner in Crime No.918 of 2020, his name was withheld. It is his further submission that further proceedings in Crime No.918 of 2020 have been stayed by this Court in Crl.OP.No.10241 of 2025. In view of the subsequent development, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondent on 10.04.2025 to consider his case for appointment. The said representation is still pending. 4.
At this juncture, Mr.L.Murugavelu, learned Standing Counsel who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the respondent would consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law and in
accordance with the Service Rules in force.

Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 6.
In view of of the fair submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court deem it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2025 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on its own merits and in accordance with law. 7.
In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
