Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to include the name of the petitioner in the Assistant promotion selection list for the year 2001-02 as per the seniority and promote the petitioner to the post of Assistant with all attendant, service and monetary benefits.

ORDER

The petitioner in this renumbered writ petition, coming on transfer from O.A.No.5630 of 2002, sought for a direction to the first respondent-Joint Director of School Education (Personnel Administration) to include his name in the panel of promotion for the post of Assistant for the year 2001-02 as per his seniority and promote him to the said post with all attendant and monetary benefits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. When the matter was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous, since the petitioner has been given promotion on 4.4.2003.

3. Recording his submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
