Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to examine the violations of the Constitution of India, Representation of People Act and Model Code of Conduct in conduct of the 2024 Parliament Election in Thoothukudi Constituency (36) as represented by the petitioner in his various email representations sent from 03.04.2024 to 24.05.2024 and the various letters addressed to the third respondent by the second respondent from 13.04.2024 to 22.05.2024 and submit proper report before this Court.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) The petitioner has filed the writ petition seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to examine the violations of the provisions of the Constitution of India, Representation of the People Act and the Model Code of Conduct
in the conduct of 2024 Parliament Election in Thoothukudi Constituency (36) as stated by the petitioner in his email representations sent from 03.4.2024 to 24.5.2024 and also various letters addressed to the third respondent by the second respondent from 13.4.2024 to 22.5.2024 and submit report before this Court.
2. Mr.Niranjan Rajagopalan, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that the respondent authorities will pass necessary orders on the representations of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law.
3. Recording the submission made by learned counsel for respondents 1 and 2 and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of by directing respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representations of the petitioner sent from 3.4.2024 to 24.5.2024 and pass orders on
merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision thereon to the petitioner.
