ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed directing the first respondent to withdraw the lookout circular LOC suspect no.2240043 issued against the petitioner in connection with Crime No.1 of 2021 on the file of the second respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the lookout circular was issued against the petitioner in connection with Crime No.1 of 2021 on the file of the second respondent. After investigation, the final report was filed and the case was taken on file in C.C.No.71 of 2023, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Ariyalur. After full fledged trial, the petitioner was acquitted from this case. He further submitted that steps have been taken for cancellation of look out circular issued against the petitioner and appropriate orders will be passed soon.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has to travel to Singapore and requested that a direction may be issued to pass orders at the earliest.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and also considering that the look out circular is no more required to be in force for the reason that the petitioner was acquitted in C.C.No.71 of 2023, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Ariyalur, this Court directs the respondents to take expeditious steps for cancellation of look out circular issued against the petitioner in LOC suspect no.2240043, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
