ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner and her family members.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent is the owner of the property and the petitioner is a tenant in the property. According to the petitioner, threat was exerted by the third respondent and hence, a complaint was given before the second respondent on 01.10.2020 seeking for police protection. Since the same was not acted upon, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

Heard Mr.T.V.G.Kartheeban, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents 1 and 2.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to conduct an enquiry on the compliant given by the petitioner against the third respondent. Except giving this direction, no further orders can be passed in this petition. 5.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
